What are the best AI roleplay tools for real estate agents in 2026?

Six AI roleplay tools agents use to practice real conversations in 2026, what each is best for, and what to check before you pay.

The AI roleplay tools built specifically for residential agents in 2026 include SalesGo, CloseDaily's AI Practice, MaverickRE's AICE, BrokerBot's Agent Coach and RepRoom, with general sales platforms such as Outdoo as an option for mixed teams. For a solo agent, published prices start around $49 a month, which is what both SalesGo and RepRoom list (as listed in October 2026).

Full disclosure: RealEdge Labs makes RepRoom. I've tried to describe every tool here the way I'd want ours described, using only what each company says on its own site, and I've noted where RepRoom is not the best pick.

What to look for before you pick one

  • Voice, not just text. An objection feels different when you hear it out loud. Some tools run spoken calls, some run chat, some do both. Check whether the AI prospect actually talks back, not just whether you can speak to a coach.
  • Feedback you can act on. A score alone won't change your next call. Look for notes that name what you said and what to try instead.
  • Real estate scenes. Expired, FSBO, listing interview, commission pushback, price reduction. Many general sales platforms are designed around software demos and business-to-business calls.
  • Beginner levels. A new agent needs an easier first rep than a ten-year veteran. Look for adjustable difficulty.
  • Custom scenarios. Teams and brokerages usually want their own scripts, listing process and market details.
  • Guardrails. Test this yourself. Tell the AI seller that commissions are set at a fixed rate, or answer a question about who lives in a neighborhood, and see whether the coach catches it. Compensation is negotiable and not set by law, per the National Association of REALTORS consumer guide, and the federal Fair Housing Act protects seven classes, including race, religion, familial status and disability.
  • Price per seat. Solo, team and office pricing can differ a lot. Do the math for your headcount.

Which one fits which agent

  • You want lessons and practice in one place: SalesGo pairs its roleplays with a video course library on objections, scripts and mindset.
  • You're already shopping for a CRM: CloseDaily bundles AI Practice into its higher CRM plans. That's good value if you want the CRM too, and a lot to pay if you only want practice.
  • Your manager wants graded phone reps: MaverickRE's AICE has agents practice by phone and sends grades managers can review. The trade-off is waiting for feedback instead of hearing it right away.
  • Your brokerage has its own scripts: BrokerBot says its coach is trained on your playbook and how your top producers handle objections.
  • Your team isn't only real estate: Outdoo is a general sales platform with a free starting allowance, so you can test it before talking to sales.
  • You want spoken, level-based practice with a debrief: RepRoom's Foundations pack covers seven beginner scenes, and "Hear It First" lets a new agent listen to a model call before trying it. Honest limits: it covers 14 residential scenes, fewer than some tools list; it has no CRM or course library; and commercial brokers need the separate RepRoom Commercial.

If you want to try the idea for free first, ChatGPT's voice mode is available on the free plan with limited access, according to OpenAI. You'll have to write the scenario yourself and judge your own performance, but it's a fair way to find out whether you like practicing out loud with AI. Some brokerages are also building their own tools; HousingWire reported in September 2026 on a Boca Raton brokerage that built an internal practice tool for its agents. If you're weighing that path, see build or license an AI practice room.

Where these tools stop

None of these tools generate leads, know your local market the way your broker does, or replace a person who can watch you and say "that's the habit holding you back." Scores are a guide, not a verdict. We wrote about the limits in where AI roleplay falls short, and about how practice and paid coaching compare in AI practice vs. a real estate coach.

How to choose in one week

  1. Shortlist two tools that publish what they do and what they cost, or will tell you quickly.
  2. Run the same scene on both, such as commission pushback, at an easy level and then a hard one.
  3. Test the guardrails described above.
  4. Notice which one you'd actually open again tomorrow. The tool you use beats the tool with the longest feature list.
  5. Price it for your real headcount. If you run an office, ask about a short pilot before you commit. You can see how ours works on the RepRoom page.

Quick answers

What is the best AI roleplay tool for a brand-new real estate agent?

Look for spoken practice, beginner difficulty levels and feedback that tells you what to say differently. SalesGo, CloseDaily, RepRoom and others offer real estate scenes; try two on the same scenario before you pay.

How much do AI roleplay tools for agents cost?

As listed in October 2026, SalesGo and RepRoom each list $49 a month for a solo agent, CloseDaily includes AI Practice in plans from $299 a month, and several tools quote team pricing on request.

Can AI roleplay replace a coach or broker?

No. AI practice gives you repetitions on demand; a coach or broker brings judgment, accountability and local market knowledge. Most agents get the most out of using both.
