Custom academies: teach new hires your way from day one

A RealEdge custom academy is a training portal built around how one company works. New hires follow a 30-day path of short lessons, practice and lesson films made in our studio, and managers coach along the way. Our first was OfficeEdge Academy, for the front-desk teams at OfficeEdge, a South Florida flexible-workspace operator.

The method: Learn it. Try it. Use it.

• Learn it: a short lesson or film on one skill.
• Try it: practice it, including voice practice for conversations like phone calls and service recovery.
• Use it: do it on the job, then talk it through with a manager.

Lesson films people watch

Our studio makes short cinematic lessons, not slide decks with a voiceover. For First Impressions, we showed the same visitor walking into the same lobby twice, handled two ways. For Phone Excellence, we showed the call from the caller's side. Every voice and film is produced in-house, which is how we can build a new academy in weeks.
